Optimizing ad performance, sales and brand objectives

ABOUT:

During my 2018 summer internship at Facebook, I was tasked to solve an onboarding challenge for Marketing Specialists within the Global Marketing Solutions team. 

 

GOAL: 

Build best practice guides on advertising solutions for  incoming hires in the Global Marketing Solutions (Consumer Package Goods team).

 

MY APPROACH:

  • Analyzed ad performance by providing insights on outcome, target audience, media planning

  • Identified seasonal trends, business models, major players, disruptors brands, pain points, common objections, case studies in Consumer Package Good Verticals

  • Shadowed client calls to determine challenges and opportunities

  • Offered recommendations for optimization on brand objectives

RESULTS:

  • Create a resource guide to best analyze ad performance for CPG vertical

  • Hosted workshops for new hires on disruptor brands, trends, seasonality & business opportunities within CPG

  • Presented findings on challenger brands to CPG leaders in North America Sales Team and Industry Managers

  • Received a full time job offer at Facebook Chicago for August 2019
